The string theory group of the University of Torino invites applications for a postdoctoral position starting in Fall 2024. The position is co-funded by the local node of the INFN project STEFI (String Theory and Fundamental Interactions). The appointment will be for 2 years.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Marco Meineri, Lorenzo Bianchi and Andrea Cavaglià on a variety of topics ranging from condensed matter and statistical mechanics to holography and effective field theory. The emphasis will be on applications of the conformal and S-matrix bootstrap. The postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to interact and collaborate with the other researchers in the group as well.
